About PickedFirst

PickedFirst started in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2026.

It came from a simple test: we asked ChatGPT to recommend tools in a category and kept seeing the same names. When we looked at why, it wasn't magic. ChatGPT was leaning on a few "best of" articles, and the companies on those lists got named. Everyone else didn't.

Big brands have PR teams to work those lists. Small software companies don't. PickedFirst does that work for them: find the lists, skip the ones that want payment, and write a pitch an editor might actually say yes to.
