Terms of service

Last updated: October 20, 2026. These terms are between you and PickedFirst for your use of PickedFirst.

The service

PickedFirst finds public "best of" articles that AI assistants cite for your category, reads them, drafts pitches you can send to their editors, and re-checks them over time. AI answers vary between runs, users and locations, so the AI results we show are a sample. We do not promise that any list will add you or that any AI assistant will name you, and we are not affiliated with OpenAI, Google or any list publisher.

Pitches you send

We write pitch text and a mail link. You send every pitch yourself, from your own email account, and you are responsible for it. That includes following anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM: use an honest subject line, include your valid physical mailing address, honor opt-out requests promptly, and do not keep emailing someone who said no. Do not use PickedFirst to send bulk or automated email.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you enter. Do not use the service to break the law, to harass publishers, or to overload our systems or other websites.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice.

Third-party content

Results include links to and short facts about third-party pages. That content belongs to its owners. Our crawler follows robots.txt and reads pages at a slow pace.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Governing law: Tennessee, United States.
